Sacred Heart Catholic School hosted its inaugural family night Nov. 4, welcoming school families, students and staff for an evening of connection, creativity and community building.

The event marked a milestone in the school’s ongoing mission to foster strong partnerships between home and school.

Families in attendance were treated to a presentation of the school excellence plan, highlighting opportunities to actively participate in the growth and vision of Sacred Heart. Attendees also enjoyed hands-on activities, including a unique arts and crafts project where children and parents built miniature churches out of boxes — symbolizing the strength and unity of the school’s faith-based foundation.

“We are deeply grateful to all the families who joined us,” said Gary Cumberland, Sacred Heart principal. “Their enthusiasm and support made the night truly special. Events like these remind us that our mission thrives when we come together as a school family.”

These gatherings offer a meaningful way to celebrate students, strengthen relationships and enjoy fun, faith-filled experiences.
