Margaret Kempke

Margaret Kempke passed away Oct. 8, 2025, after a short illness at the age of 88.

Margaret was born June 6, 1937, to the late Ervin and Mary Clement of Milwaukee. After her father’s passing, her mother moved to the Spruce area and married Edward Marith.

Lonny J. Stoltz

Lonny J. Stoltz, 74, of Birnamwood, died on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at Shawano Health Services.

Lonny was born Sept. 15, 1951, in Milwaukee, the son of Joseph and Lillian (Falstad) Stoltz.

Lonny worked at SNE and the Neenah Foundry. He enjoyed being with his friends and going up north. Lonny was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Lonny is survived by his brother, Alan Stoltz, and several nieces and nephews.

Ronald Temple

Ronald Lee “Ron” Temple, 80, of Shawano, formerly of Pulcifer, passed away Oct. 1, 2025, peacefully in his sleep.

Ronald was born Aug. 21, 1945, in Green Bay, a son of the late Ray and Ruth (Nass) Temple. He graduated from Gillett High School with the class of 1963 and proudly served in the U.S. Army until 1966.

On Sept. 21, 1968, Ronald was united in marriage to the former Patricia Dumas in Lena.

Mary E. Schuettpelz

Mary E. Schuettpelz, 73, of Suring, passed away Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025.

Mary was born June 24, 1952, to the late Ruben and Irma (Schallock) Hasselquist. She graduated from Rhinelander High School with the class of 1970.

Mary met her future husband, Randall Schuettpelz, through his roommate and her boyfriend at the time, who later set them up. The couple was married Oct. 6, 1973, in Rhinelander, and the couple settled in Suring.

Thomas Kugel

Thomas Matthew “Tom” Kugel, 89, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, at his home in Shawano.

Tom was born Nov. 10, 1935, at the home farm in the Town of Waukechon to the late Frank and Barbara (Stempa) Kugel. He graduated from Shawano High School in 1954.

Constance (“Grama” Connie) Lucille Sommer, 92, of the Town of Belle Plaine, passed away Oct. 4, 2025, at her residence.
