Shawano jumped out to a 2-0 lead with runs in the first and second innings, but Notre Dame scored four in each of the fourth and sixth innings to win 8-2.
The WIAA regional game loss ended the season for the Hawks, who were seeded fifth in the Division 2 sectional. The Tritons were seeded fourth.
Colleen Koski, chief administrative officer of HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls, was recently recognized on the 2026 iteration of the “Rural Hospital and Health System Presidents and CEOs to Know” list published by Becker’s Hospital Review.
Two HSHS hospitals — HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls — were recognized by UW Organ and Tissue Donation for an ongoing commitment to saving and improving lives through organ and tissue donation.
Both hospitals, along with the 23 other award recipients, were honored during a ceremony in April in Madison.
The former Banner Banks merged with Bank of Sun Prairie and now operates as Bank of Wisconsin, a branch of Bank of Sun Prairie — a community bank with four branches and roots in northcentral Wisconsin.
