Can fans expect another wild game between Packers and Bengals?

The Green Bay Packers are returning home for the first time since early September, and they’ll take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

The Packers have not won a game since that 28-19 victory over the Washington Commanders, having lost and tied their first two road games of the season.

The Bengals season is in flux right now, as quarterback Joe Burrow has been lost for the season with a foot injury.

McManus explains blocked PAT against Cowboys

Brandon McManus’ missed PAT attempt against Dallas in Week 4 opened the scoring window for the Cowboys. Hours later, the game ended in a 40-40 overtime tie.

“It’s hard to find the word for it,” McManus said. “Just a weird game; weird game for sure.”

Was the tie satisfying or deflating?

Packers welcome early bye this season

Teams are just about one quarter of the way through the NFL season, and the Green Bay Packers are going into their bye week.

Their season started with a bang. A big trade Aug. 28 that netted Micah Parsons in exchange for two first round draft picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark was a big boost to the team’s morale — and, more importantly, their defense — before the start of the regular season.

Packers, Cowboys cling to 40-40 tie

Packers kicker Brandon McManus nailed a 34-yard field goal as the time expired in overtime, resulting in a 40-40 tie in Micah Parsons’ return to Dallas on Sept. 28.

McManus’ game-tying field goal matched Cowboys’ kicker Brandon Aubrey’s field goal, giving the Packers its seventh tie game since 1974, when overtime was introduced to the NFL, and the first since it tied the Minnesota Vikings 29-29 in 2018.

Packers lead the NFL in tie games since 1974

How is a team supposed to react after battling for 60 or more minutes of grueling football, only for the game to end in a tie with no winner and no loser?

The Packers should know that answer better than any other team: Since 1974, when the NFL implemented its overtime rules, no franchise has tied more games than Green Bay.

Green Bay defense could have big day against Cleveland

Green Bay will travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns at noon Sept. 21.

Packers’ offense vs. Browns’ defense

Green Bay’s offense has been a mixed bag through two games to start the year.

They’ve looked unstoppable at times and inept at others.

Jordan Love has yet to turn the ball over on the young season. He’s thrown multiple touchdown passes in each of the first two games.

Packers, Browns six pack of what-ifs

The Green Bay Packers will take their show on the road after an impressive 2-0 start with wins over NFC contenders at Lambeau Field.

This week, they’ll be guests of the Cleveland Browns, who are looking to get off the mat after losing their second consecutive game to start the season.

The goal this week is a little different. The team they’re facing is not as good, so they’ll need to learn not to play with their food.
