A pair of Wittenberg-Birnamwood relay teams and three individual members of those teams will compete at the WIAA state swim meet Nov. 14-15 at the Waukesha South Natatorium.
The Chargers placed third among 14 teams at the Division 2 sectional at Rice Lake on Nov. 7-8.
The team of Brooklyn Beran, Reese Dickman, Kelsie Davis and Eleanor Tassler advance to the state competition with second-place finishes in the 200-yard medley relay in 1:50.17 and the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:40.87.
Davis won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:10.87, and Beran placed fourth in 2:20.25. Both will compete at state in the event.
Dickman also advanced after winning the 50-yard freestyle in 24.40. She also won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:06.24.
Beran won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:02.62 to advance.
Davis also will compete in the 100-yard butterfly after winning the sectional race in 59.04, the only swimmer to break the 1-minute mark.
In other events, Tassler placed sixth in the 200-yard freestyle and seventh in the 100-yard freestyle.
Rylee Crick placed seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke. She also placed 11th in the 100-yard butterfly.
D2 Ashwaubenon
In another D2 sectional, this one in Ashwaubenon, Shawano/Bonduel placed ninth among 14 teams. The Kohler co-op team won.
Tela Hopfensperger had the best individual finish, placing seventh in the 100-yard freestyle. Molly Hanson was 22nd.
The team of Jai Bisterfeldt, Hanson, Kenley Kelliher and Hopfensperger finished eighth in the 200-yard freestyle relay and eighth in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Hopfensperger earned a ninth-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley, and Hanson was 15th.
Bisterfeldt finished 15th in the 50-yard freestyle, and Kelliher was 17th in the 200-yard freestyle.
D1 Neenah
In the Division 1 sectional at Neenah, Pulaski placed ninth among 13 teams with Appleton North claiming the title.
Several Red Raiders collected top-10 finishes.
The team of Eva Sauer, Sophie Friedman, Emmalie Rozmiarek and Jillian Wentland placed seventh in the 200-yard medley relay and ninth in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Sauer placed seventh in the 100-yard backstroke and 10th in the 200-yard individual medley.
Wentland finished sixth in the 100-yard freestyle, with Brynn Kapla in 24th, Rozmiarek in 25th and Eva Gosse in 28th.
Wentland also led a group of Pulaski swimmers by placing seventh in the 50-yard freestyle. Joining here were Rozmiarek in 24th, Kapla in 27th and Kaitlyn Hanson in 33rd.
Friedman placed her teammates by placing ninth in the 200-yard freestyle. Chloe Gritt was 17th, Georgia Giannunzio was 19th, and Gosse placed 22nd.
Friedman also earned a 10th-place spot in the 500-yard freestyle, with Giannunzio placing 16th.
In the 400-yard freestyle relay, the team of Giannunzio, Kapla, Gosse and Gritt placed 12th.
Gritt finished 13th in the 100-yard breaststroke.
