Menominee Nation’s Bryant Waupoose III set a new personal record at 17:00.8 when he finished first at the Oconto Invitational on Sept. 30.
Teammate Michael Peters III finished 15th in 19:37.5, a new season record for him.
Erik Kosch, of Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy, placed 23rd, followed by Menominee Nation’s Cashius Reevis in 24th.
Menominee Nation’s Kai Wayka was 30th, while Mason Martin, of Gresham/Bowler, placed 45th.
Breckin Gleason, of Gresham/Bowler, finished 54th, and Lena/STAA’s Cooper Malloy was 58th.
Placing 63rd was Blaze Ejnik, of Gresham/Bowler, and teammate Dorec Guthrie was 64th. Chase Waupoose, of Menominee Nation, was 68th, and teammate Christopher Waubanascum was 71st.
Adam Liethen, of Gresham/Bowler, placed 78th, and Mark Buchholz, of Wolf River Lutheran in Shawano, was 79th.
Three Lena/STAA girls placed in the top 10.
Aspynn Anderson finished fourth in 22:00.5, followed by Alisa Finger in fifth in 22:17.0 and Adrena Rabas in sixth in 22:19.1 Anderson’s time was a new season record, while Finger and Rabas set new personal records.
Teammate Alexis Maloney placed 19th. Menominee Nation’s Urijah Reevis was 24th, while teammates Kaylee Nacotee finished 28th and Keira Nacotee placed 32nd.
Menominee Nation’s Mimi Corn placed 40th.
