The host Eagles defeated the visiting Thunderhawks 3-0 by scores of 25-11, 25-10 and 25-9.
Tigerton 3, White Lake 0
Tigerton hosted CWC North foe White Lake and defeated them 3-0. Set scores were 25-29, 25-14 and 25-13.
“We started out slowly with poor serve receive but then came back strong and played great defense and offense for the rest of the night,” said coach Holly Meverden. “The girls are communicating better on the court and show improvement in their individual skills. The team benefits from the individual improvement and dedication to their teammates.”
For the match, Aaliyah Lederhaus led with 19 digs, followed by Jaelyn Brady with 18, Renata Nordwig 15, Lillian Welch 11, Danika Tiller and Presley Stewart-Rolfs with 10 each, and Myah Dent with five.
Stewart-Rolfs led the Tigers with eight kills, followed by Lederhaus and Welch with six each, and Tiller and Nordwig with four each.
Tiller had 13 assists, and Lederhaus tallied seven.
Stewart-Rolfs and Mya Smith each had a block kill.
As for service points and aces, Lederhaus had 14 with five aces, Nordwig had 13 with four aces, Stewart-Rolfs had with one ace, Tiller had seven with one ace, Brady had seven with with ace, and Dent had five with one ace.
Tigerton is 1-1 in the CWC North and 4-3 overall.
