Thomas J. Kopacz

Thomas Joseph Kopacz, 76, passed away in Appleton on Aug. 11, 2021. He was born on June 5, 1945, to Evelyn (Bernitt) and Casmir Kopacz. Tom was an entertainer. He loved talking to people and was quick to strike up conversation. He was known as “the agitator,” which was a nickname he wore proudly. He enjoyed boating, riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting, golfing and most of all he loved creating music. Music was a special passion for Tom. He is survived by his children, Edward Kopacz, Anne Kopacz and Jessica Wurzbach; grandson, Bryson; sister, Mary Ann (Donald) Spranger; brother, James (Dominic Lewis) Kopacz; and many other family and friends. Preceding him in death are his parents and brother, Michael Kopacz. A celebration of life will be held at Kwiatkowski Funeral Home, 425 Jefferson Ave., Omro, on Friday, Aug. 27, with visitation being held from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m.
