Shawano’s girls wrestlers have tough go of it in Brillion

Seven Shawano Community High School girl wrestlers competed at Brillion on Dec. 12, facing tough completion among the more than 300 others from around the state.

Zennah Bosetski , Gwyn Hermann, Jenna Moede, Madelyn Moesch, Ella Korth, Amiyah O’Kimosh and Vivian Waldburger wrestled, with Hermann placing sixth. 

“Our girls were battling some injuries tonight, and it showed in our final standings,” coach Mike Homan said. “I’m proud of the girls for not giving up and continuing to battle through all of their matches.”
