The Shawano Hawks boys soccer team ended their 2025 campaign after a 2-1 loss to the Lakeland Thunderbirds on Oct. 30 in the WIAA sectional semifinals.
It was a tense game with Lakeland scoring the first goal by Camerron Bernard.
Shawano tied the score in the second half when a corner kick by Joaquin Boldig was kicked in by Jorel Shaver, Later, Oren Slemmons of the Thunderbirds scored the last goal.
Homestead 1, Pulaski 0
The Red Raiders fell to the Highlanders 1-0 in the third round of the state playoffs.
Homestead scored the game-winning goal from a corner kick in the 67th minute. Braedyn Frahm got the goal off the assist from Brady Wild.
Jonah Drevs made five saves in goal for the Red Raiders. Colin Yorulmazaglu and Caleb Esenberg combined for five saves in goal for the Highlanders.
Pulaski ends the season with a final record of 10-8-4.
