Red Raiders take second at home triangular

Tri-County Early Meet

Gresham/Bowler’s boys and girls track teams each placed fifth among eight teams at Plainfield.

The girls scored 46 points, while the boys tallied 36.

Addison Fischer placed second in the triple jump and sixth in the 400-meter dash.

Alivia Perez finished second in the high jump, and Lorelai Hehouillier was third. Perez placed third in the 800-meter run.

Also in third in the 4x100-meter relay were Hailey Fischer, Roselynn Rosenow, Emily Jensen and Hannah Long. Placing third in the 4x200-meter relay were Long, Perez, Rosenow and Chloe Westcott.

Jensen finished fourth in the shot put.

For the boys, Breckin Gleason placed third in the 3,200-meter run.

Leif Steffen finished fourth and Brock Gourley was fifth in the 400-meter dash. Steffen was also fourth in the triple jump.

In the 110-meter hurdles, Gourley was fourth and Brett Schreiber was fifth.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Riley Hohensee, Ethan May, Cody Mehlberg and Steffen placed fourth.

In the 4x200-meter relay, it was Brandon Jeske, Hohensee, May and Mehlberg placing fourth. Placing fifth in the 4x800-meter relay were Gleason, Raiden Stevens, Derec Guthrie and Schreiber.

May placed fifth in the discus.

Pulaski Triangular

Weather shortened the Pulaski Triangular, leaving the Red Raiders to place second in both the boys and girls competitions.

The girls collected 29 points, and the boys earned 22.

Olivia Sprangers won the 100-meter dash in 12.75, with teammates Olivia Lemirande taking second, Mya Christensen in third and McKenna McKeefry in fifth.

Noelle Manning won the shot put at 32 feet, 5 inches, and Sophia Wlazlo-Jakin placing fifth.

Lydia Gwidt won the triple jump at 31-0.75, and Faye Brunke finished fourth. Gwidt was third in the long jump.

Aubrey Omernik placed second in the 100-meter hurdles.

Rebecca Huisman finished third in the high jump, and Megan Kraft was fourth.

For the boys, Max Fredrickson won the 100-meter dash in 11.52.

Libero Angeli placed second in the discus, with Will Decker taking third. Mason Groth was second in the triple jump, with Jimi Notinokey in third.

In the 1,600-meter run, Mitchell Pilon placed third and Arden Gillen was fourth.

Nico VanDerPerren finished third in the 110-meter hurdles, and Mason Williquette was fifth.

Daenen Kehoe placed third in the long jump.
