Maggie Gerth placed first in 18:54.3 and the Red Raiders girls cross country team placed second among Division 1 small schools at the Smiley Invitational at Wausau East.
Teammate Emerson Fabry placed second in 19:43.7, and Addie Bruckert was seventh in 20:21.2. Cameran Reiss finished in 11th, and Ellie Murphy was 21st.
Estella Vieaux placed 34th.
Shawano runners placed fourth, with Bailey Hendricks leading the way with an eighth-place finish in 20:38.8. She was joined by Macy Beyer in 19th, Anabelle Schroeder in 23rd, Mikelah Powers in 32nd and Evelyn Kuehl in 35th.
In Division 2, Wittenberg-Birnamwood finished in third.
Running for the Chargers were Rory Savlesen, ninth place, 20:47.2; Nora Bushman, 12th; Harper Krull, 23rd; Delilah Schairer, 32nd; Lilyana Groh, 48th; and Sydney Schairer, 75th.
Oconto Falls placed sixth with Emma Meissner finishing in eighth place in 20:41.0.
Also running for the Panthers were Lily Meissner in 11th place, Sydney Braund in 30th, Alexandria Braund in 36th and Mackenzie Lotto in 53rd, as all as Katie Moody in 89th and Evelyn Savage in 91st.
Pulaski’s boys placed fourth.
Parker Marshall was eighth overall with a time of 16:46.8. He was joined by Arden Gillen in 11th, Mitchell Pilon in 15th, Grayden Gossen in 18th and Dayne Groth in 33rd.
Ben Augustine was 47th, and Carter Ryskowski placed 55th.
Shawano placed eighth and was led by Josiah Kuehl in 26th overall in 17:59.0 Also, Aloysius Frechette placed 37th, Quinten Harkey was 43rd, Teagan Harkey was 45th and Beckett Hendricks finished 58th.
James Lange completed the course in 67th place.
In Division 2, Oconto Falls placed 10th. Scoring for the Panthers were Isaiah Holtz in 20th place in 18:30.3, Ethan Zielinski in 45th, Mason Lotto in 47th, Landon Timm in 54th and Sage Mendolla in 81st.
New London Bulldog Invite
Mariah Wondra, of Bonduel, placed third with a time of 19:06.4 among the girls.
Teammate Lillian Burrack was 11th in 21:19.2. Payten Bierhals finished 35th, Cierra Schnell was 40th, Kember Frome was 55th, and Katie O’Brien was 72nd.
Suring’s Allyson Seibert placed 39th. She was joined by Ginger Gerndt in 44th and Natalie Seibert in 47th.
Brooklynn Ahlers, of Marion-Tigerton, finished 51st, followed by Kennedy Zuniga in 60th.
For the boys, Bonduel was paced by Gage Anderson in 15th in 18:31.2 and Griffin Uelmen in 16th in 18:33.1
Also running were Oliver Chitwood in 25th, Joah Dworniczak in 35th, Garrett Anderson in 51st, Jack Weier in 58th and Carter Johnson in 66th.
For Marion-Tigerton, it was Tristan Herro in 56th, Payton Prickette in 57th and Brayden Zietlow in 83rd.
Suring’s Blake DeGrave finished in 69th place. Charles Richard was 75th, Liam Matelski was 76th, Riley Thomson placed 78th, Garrett School placed 86th, and Skylar Bristol completed the course in 88th place.
Angel Invitational
Bradyn Wendorff placed 23rd to lead the Gillett boys and Amanda Pate placed 29th to lead the girls at UW-Parkside in Kenosha on Sept. 20.
Also for the girls, Hope Soper was 58th, followed by Halle Wendorff in 115th, Sophia Limberg in 129th and Sharlese Stage in 175th.
Jeremiah Lennon placed 225th for the boys.
