Pulaski soccer team shut out by De Pere

The De Pere Redbirds notched a 3-0 conference win over the visiting Pulaski Red Raiders on Oct. 7.

After a scoreless first half, De Pere pulled away in the second half with three unanswered goals. Anson Fawcett broke the deadlock in the 47th minute, and the Redbirds added goals in the 63rd and 64th minutes.

The contest was called in the 74th minute when the field sprinkler system turned on and could not be shut off. Logan Nycz made three saves in goal for De Pere (9-3-2, 5-0-2). Jonah Drevs made eight saves in goal for Pulaski (7-6-3, 2-3-1).

Tri-County 3, Gresham/Bowler 2

The Penguins topped the Wildcats 3-2 in a nonconference matchup in Plainfield.

Gresham/Bowler held a 2-0 halftime lead, but Tri-County battled back and scored three times in the second half to secure the win.

The Wildcats are 0-14-1 overall.
