Pulaski, Bonduel girls win respective cross country meets

Shawano’s Josiah Kuehl placed fifth among small-school male runners at the Seymour Invitational on Oct. 9. His time was 17:33.4.

Also in the top 10 was teammate Aloysius Frechette, who placed ninth in 18:15.6.

Rounding out the top five for the Hawks were Teagan Harkey in 12th in 18:33.5, Beckett Hendricks in 16th in 18:41.3 and Quinten Harkey in 22nd in 18:52.6.

James Lange placed 27th, and Brayden Fish was 39th.

Gillett’s Bradyn Wendorff finished in second place in 16:40.9.

Nash Stage placed 44th.

Pulaski’s Parker Marshall placed second among large-school male runners. He completed the course in 16:31.8.

Three teammates also finished in the top 10. Arden Gillen was fifth in 17:23.5, followed by Mitchell Pilon in seventh in 17:33.6, and Dayne Groth was ninth in 17:47.1.

Ben Augustine placed 20th in 18:59.6.

Carter Ryskoski finished 23rd, and Thomas Murphy was 26th.

For the girls, Pulaski’s Maggie Gerth won among large-school girls, finishing in 18:49.9.

Ellie Murphy finished 14th in 21:16.5, Cameran Reiss was 16th in 21:25.1, and Estella Vieaux placed 39th in 24:05.1.

Among small schools, Shawano placed third and was led by three runners in the top 10.

Bailey Hendricks finished in second in 20:23.5, followed by Maci Beyer in fifth in 21:32.1 and Mikelah Powers in seventh in 22:05.1.

Emma Neilson placed 19th in 22:53.4, while Teagan Powers was 40th in 27:07.1.

For Gillett, Hope Soper finished the race in fourth place in 21:01.8. Amanda Pate finished in sixth place in 21:05.4.

Halle Wendorff placed 27th in 23:40.7, and Sophie Limberg was 30th in 24:24.5.

Warhawk Invitational

Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s girls placed second and the Bonduel team was third at Weyauwega-Fremont. For the boys, Bonduel placed third, and Wittenberg-Birnamwood was 10th.

Bonduel’s Mariah Wondra won the girls race in 18:51.5. Teammate Lillian Burrack finished in eighth in 20:47.1

Payten Bierhals placed 23rd in 22:20.9, followed by Cierra Schnell in 37th in 23:15.0 and Kember Frome in 46th in 23:40.6.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Rory Salvesen placed fourth in 20:12, and Nora Bushman was fifth in 20:22.

Also, Harper Krull placed 15th 21:14, Delilah Schairer was 19th in 21:55, and Gabby Timm finished 28th in 22:37.

Brooklyn Ahlers, of Marion/Tigerton, finished in 39th place in 23:23.9. Kennedy Zuniga was 54th in 24:14.5.

Menominee Nation’s Urijah Reevis placed 58th in 24:28.2.

Kaylee Nacotee was 76th in 26:41.2, and Keira Nacotee finished 81st in 27:13.6. Mimi Corn was 88th in 30:12.6.

For the boys, Bonduel was led by Griffin Uelmen in fourth in 17:40.3 and Gage Anderson in fifth in 17:55.3.

Joah Dworniczak placed 14th in 18:33.0. Garrett Anderson finished 24th in 19:05.3, and Oliver Chitwood was 32nd in 19:20.8.

For the Chargers, it was Jonas Bushman in 52nd place in 20:18, Marty Nowinsky in 54th in 20:21, Dalton Fletcher in 58th in 20:40, Milo Salvesen in 59th in 20:40 and Colten Mueller in 80th in 22:11.

Bryant Waupoose III, running for Menominee Nation, placed third in 17:18.1.

Michael Peters III placed 30th in 19:19.1, and Kai Wayka was 57th in 20:36.3. Chase Waupoose finished 92nd in 23:44.1.

Marion/Tigerton’s Payton Prickette finished in 53rd place in 20:19.4, and Tristan Herro was 60th in 20:41.6. Brayden Zietlow was 73rd in 21:53.3.

Gresham/Bowler’s Breckin Gleason placed 74th in 21:55.7, and Derec Guthrie was 83rd in 22:44.2. Blaze Ejnik finished 89th in 23:15.3, and Adam Liethen was 94th in 29:55.2.
