The postseason is around the corner for the Badger Amateur Baseball Association and Dairyland Baseball League, with first-round playoff games in both leagues scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10.
Although pairings are set for the Dairyland League, the BABA has a pair of play-in games this week to determine two of the four No. 4 seeds.
BABA
East Division
Marion and Menominee tied for fourth place in the East Division and will face each other in a play-in game at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, in Clintonville. The winner of that game will travel to Neopit to face the top-seeded Chiefs.
No. 2 Gresham will host No. 3 Clintonville in the other semifinal.
Final regular season standings (division games only): Neopit (10-3); Gresham (8-5); Clintonville (8-5); Marion (5-8); Menominee (5-8); Shawano (2-11).
West Division
Little Falls is the No. 1 seed in the West Division and will host No. 4 Leopolis.
No. 3 Tigerton will head to No. 2 Caroline in the other division semifinal.
Final regular season standings (division games only): Little Falls (13-0); Caroline (9-4); Tigerton (8-5); Leopolis (5-8); Tilleda (4-9); Crandon (1-12).
North Division
The North Division will also have a play-in game, as Wittenberg will host Antigo/Polar at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8. The winner will head to Eland to play the top-seeded Engineers.
No. 2 Birnamwood will host No. 3 Elderon in the other semifinal.

South-Central Division
Scandinavia received the top seed in the South-Central Division and will host No. 4 Weymont.
No. 3 Plover will head to New London for a matchup with the No. 2 Irish.
Final regular season standings (division games only): Scandinavia (7-2); New London (4-5); Plover (4-5); Weymont (3-6).
Division finals are set for 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17.
BABA semifinals will be played Sunday, Aug. 24, with the West champion hosting the North champion and the East champion hosting the South-Central champion.
The Grand Championship game will be played at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at the winner of the North/West semifinal.
Little Falls is the defending champion.
Dairyland
Waupaca received the No. 1 seed in the Dairyland after winning the regular season with a 14-2 mark in league play.
The Lakemen will open the postseason by hosting No. 8 Navarino.
Other first-round games are No. 7 Shawano at No. 2 Hortonville; No. 6 Bonduel at No. 3 Hofa Park; and No. 5 Cecil at No. 4 Pulaski.
Two semifinal games are set for 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, with winners advancing to the Grand Championship game Sunday, Aug. 24. The highest remaining seeds will host all three games.
