Oconto Falls team, Pulaski golfer advance to sectionals

Pulaski’s golf team missed qualifying for sectionals by three strokes, but Charlie Lasecki advanced to sectional action as an individual golfer.

Bay Port, Notre Dame Academy, De Pere and Wausau West/East qualified as teams. Pulaski’s 386 was just shy of the mark to advance in Division 1 action.

Shawano’s 424 placed the Hawks in ninth among the 10 teams.

Lasecki, a senior, carded an 88 to move on to sectional play. Also scoring for the Red Raiders were Morgan Schuh with 96, and Taylor Murphy and Ellie Mork with 101 each.

Grace Melzer carded a 107.

Scoring for Shawano were Madelyn Moesch with 102, Gwyn Hermann with 105, Lauren Seehafer with 108 and Hailey Hawkinson with 109.

Alyssa Singer carded a 110.

In Division 2 action at Northbrook Golf Course in Luxemburg, Oconto Falls qualified as a team, placing second among eight competitors.

The Panthers scored 409, between champion Seymour and third-place Luxemburg-Casco.

Bonduel finished sixth with 446.

Individual scores for Oconto Falls were Addy Kluth with 94, Riley Borkovec with 99, Kylie Thompson with 107 and Lilly Wagner with 109.

Katelyn Kurek carded a 117.

Bonduel scores were Paige Wolf with 105, Morgan Staszak with 110, McKenna Onesti with 112 and Hailey Spates with 119.

Quinn Hartlaben carded a 125.
