Verlyn A. Spreeman Sr.

Verlyn A. Spreeman Sr., 94, of Oconto Falls, passed away on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2022, at The Cottages at Meadowlands Memory Care Unit. Verlyn was born on Jan. 28, 1928 to the late William Sr. and Mildred (Lempke) Spreeman. He graduated from Mountain High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. After returning from service, Verlyn began work at the Suring Midland Co-Op as a butcher.
Yvonne Dorothy (Ringel) Miller
Yvonne Dorothy (Ringel) Miller, 85, of Gresham, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, in Shawano. She was born on Sept. 23, 1937, to the late Fred and Louise (Viergutz) Ringel in Shawano. Yvonne was a graduate of Shawano High School. She married her sweetheart, Robert “Bob” Miller on June 13, 1959, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hermansfort.
Bruce Lee Koenig
Bruce L. Koenig, 73, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022. He was born to the late Hal and Renee (Sapenko) Koenig, on Dec. 2, 1948, in Shawano. Bruce graduated from Green Bay West High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree at the college of Stevens Point.
Marvin E. Bahr
Marvin Emil Bahr, 86, of Gresham, passed away in Appleton on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. Marvin was born in Shawano County on Sept. 13, 1936, son of the late Herbert and Edna (Janke) Bahr. Marvin grew up in Gillett and graduated from Gillett High School. He served his country honorably in the United States Army where he spent a year and a half of his service stationed in Hawaii. Rose Mary Zastrow
Rose Mary Zastrow, 83, a longtime Two Rivers resident, died in the loving arms of her daughter, Kristin, Thursday morning, Nov. 10, 2022, at The Cottages Assisted Living and Memory Care in Shawano. Rose Mary was born Oct. 2, 1939, in Shawano, the oldest daughter of the late Alexander and Erna (Schutt) Haut. She attended Shawano schools, graduating from Shawano High School with the Class of 1957. On Sept. 19, 1959, she married Dick Zastrow at St.
Leo Wudstrack
Leo “Sam” Wudstrack, 71, of Tigerton, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Leo Clarence Wudstrack was born on Sept. 11, 1951, in Shawano to Albert and Dorothy (Begrow) Wudstrack. Sam grew up in the Town of Grant and attended Valley View School through the third grade. Then he went on to school in Tigerton and graduated from Tigerton High School in 1969.
