The Shawano/Seymour boys swimming team placed eighth among 10 teams at the Hudson Division 1 sectional Feb. 12-13.
The Hawks earned 138 points.
While none of the swimmers advanced to the state tournament, several recorded finishes in the top 10.
Sophomore Jonah Kuba of Shawano/Seymour placed third in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:06.76. Kuba also placed sixth in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:52.14.
The team of junior Brendon Riehl, senior James Lange, sophomore Nicholas Auchue and Kuba finished sixth in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:40.92,
In the 400-yard freestyle relay, the team of Riehl, Lange, Auchue and Kuba places seventh in 3:40.80.
Auchue was 10th in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:25.33.
Placing 10th in the 100-yard freestyle was Riehl in 52.65.
Neenah Sectional
Pulaski swimmers and divers earned 177 points and placed seventh among 12 teams at the Neenah Sectional on Feb. 12-13.
Like Shawano/Seymour, no team member advanced to the state tournament.
Conrad Kreutzberg finished second in the 50-yard freestyle in 22.42 and sixth in the 100-yard freestyle in 51.52.
Taking fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay were Kreutzberg, Will Gosse, Landyn Kroll and Bartolo Lara in 1:32.42.
Patrick Reynolds was fourth in the 100-yard backstroke in 56.31.
In sixth in the 400-yard freestyle relay were Kreutzberg, Kroll, Lara and Gosse in 3:26.51.
The foursome of Reynolds, Oscar Delmarcelle, Gage Derusha and Thomas Glinski placed eighth in the4 200-yard medley relay in 1:50.62.
Reynolds placed eighth in the 2000-yard individual medley in 2:09.20.
Lara was eighth in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:12.09 and 10th in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:55.37.
