Marjorie Florence Beckwith

Marjorie Florence Beckwith, 101, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at home in Appleton. She was born on Feb. 17, 1922, in the Town of Fairbanks, the daughter of Paul and Florence (Alft) Seefeldt. Marjorie was united in marriage to the love of her life, William “Bill” Beckwith on May 28, 1966, in Neenah, and he preceded her in death. She was a very proud, loving, and doting grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Marjorie was very supportive and close to all of them and will be remembered most for the special bond she held with them. She enjoyed playing cards, crafting, painting, and cardinals. Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Bonita “Bonnie” Godin and Joyce Verkuilen; grandchildren, Todd (Gaye) Hansen, Rodney (Christina) Hansen, Julie Basler, Kimberly (William) Pierson, David (Demaris) Cullen, Fred Cullen, Julie Sanders, Debbie (Craig) Dumas, Allen (Laura) Godin, Steve (Mary) Godin, Laura (Tony) Miller, Tracy (Robert) Johnson, Tonya (Scott) Teeters, Katie (Jake) Schroeder; many loving great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard Seefeldt and Diane (Terry) Ploeger; other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by a son, Edward (Patricia) Hansen; sons-in-law, Robert Godin and David Verkuilen; siblings, Del (Doris) (Gerrie) Seefeldt, Ray Seefeldt, Grace (James) Mathie, and Elaine (Merlin) Krueger; sister- and brother-in-law, Hilda Seefeldt and Jerry Ploeger. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St., Menasha. Visitation will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Marjorie’s family would like to offer their sincere thank you to Moments Hospice for the loving care they gave Marj. We will never forget your kindness.
