Marion, Witt-Birn softball teams win in shutouts

Marion 23, Bowler/Gresham 0

An 11-run third inning sealed the deal for Marion’s softball team, as the Mustangs shut out Bowler/Gresham 23-0 in four innings.

Marion also scored three runs in each of the first two innings and six in the fourth.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 15, Weyauwega-Fremont 0

Jayda Moenke hit 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and four RBIs as the Chargers shut out the Warhawks 15-0.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood scored a run in the first inning, three in the second, seven in the third and four in the fourth in the four-inning game.

Bonduel 18, Amherst 4

The Bears dominated the Falcons 18-4 on 25 hits scattered across six innings. Amherst also committed five errors.

Hailey Conradt, Marlie Hartmann and Mary Margelofsky each hit 4-for-5.

Allison Zernicke connected on a triple, while Margelofsky had a pair of doubles, and Conradt and Emery Thompson each had one.

Maddie Hart, Thompson and Kallie Wilcox all worked on the mound for the Bears.
