Local runners grab the gold at UW-Stevens Point

Rosholt-Webko-Politos Invitational 2026

Bonduel track and field competitors captured five first-place finishes at the Rosholt-hosted meet at UW-Stevens Point.

Peyton Westrich won the 400-meter dash in 1:01.74, and Mariah Wondra won the 1,600-meter run in 5:24.83.

The girls 4x200-meter relay team won gold in 1:55.77.

Taking first for the boys were the 4x200 relay team in 1:35.67 and the 4x400 relay team in 3:41.67.

Also collecting podium finishes for the girls were Josie Pawlak, second, long jump, and third, triple jump; Lily Burrack, second, 3,200-meter run; Cierra Schnell, fourth, long jump; 4x40o relay team, fifth; and Westrich, sixth, triple jump.

For the boys, podium places went to Mason Ballwahn, second, 400-meter dash; Amias Saldana Busch, second, high jump; Ryan Westrich, second, shot put; Garrett Anderson, fifth, 3,200-meter run; Gage Anderson, fourth, 800-meter run.

While not winning any events, Oconto Falls claimed several seconds and thirds.

For the boys, Brady Bursa claimed second and Elijah White was third in the long jump. Bursa was also second in the triple jump.

Liam Sondregger placed third in the high jump.

White finished fourth and Bursa was sixth in the 60-meter dash.

The 4x200 relay team was fourth, and the 4x400 relay team placed sixth.

For the girls, the 4x200 relay team placed second.

Rylie Shallow was third in the 60-meter dash, and Gracie Miller was fifth.

Emma Meissner was third and Lily Meissner was fourth in the 3,200-meter run.

Aliya Cox won three events for the Suring girls.

She won the 60-meter hurdles in 9.85, won the long jump at 16 feet 11 inches and won the triple jump at 25-2.

Natalie Seibert placed sixth in the 3,200-meter run.

Best for the Suring boys was an 11th-place finish for the 4x200 relay team.

Gillett’s boys were paced by Bradyn Wendorff’s second-place finish in the 800-meter run.
