Green Bay Preble 63, Shawano 48

Green Bay Preble shot really well including seven 3-pointers in the first half to build a lead that Shawano couldn’t overcome in the second half.

The Hawks fell to 4-2 with the 63-48 loss.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 84, Weyauwega-Fremont 40

Wittenberg-Birnamwood played a great first half and went on to crush Weyauwega-Fremont 84-40 in the conference game.

Melaina Granquist led the Chargers with 29 points. Rory Salvesen added another 24, and Harper Rogowski scored 12.

Monday, Dec. 8

Lena 38, Coleman 25

Ella Thomson scored 11 points and Alisa Finger added 10 in Lena’s 38-25 win over Coleman on Dec. 8.

The Wildcats held a 21-15 halftime lead and extended its margin of victory with a 17-10 second half.

Thomson added 12 rebounds, and Abby Kostreva had 11. Thomson and Finger each had three blocks, Kostreva had three steals, and Finger led with three assists.

Suring 50, Niagara 46

Suring held on to its lead despite being outscored in the second half, defeating Niagara 50-46 when the final buzzer sounded.

With a 29-19 lead at halftime, Suring gave up a 27-21 second half.

Gracie Christensen led the Eagles with 17 points, followed by Paige Pommerich with 14 and Ellayna Skarban with 10.
