Clintonville cruises to BABA win over Tilleda

East/West Division July 13 Clintonville 16, Tilleda 3 (7 inn.) Jaden Doornink went the distance and struck out nine batters to get the win on the mound for the A’s. Zach Schafer, Austin Hoffman and Turner Doornink led Clintonville with three hits each, while Andy Lederer added a three-run home run. Landon Kroening had two hits to lead Tilleda at the plate. Zach Fehrman took the loss for the Woodchucks. Caroline 14, Shawano 2 Klay Barkow, Neil Hoffman and Gavin Christopherson each had three hits to help lead the Cougars over the Lakers, while Jack Yaeger added two hits, including a triple. Kade Rosenow picked up the win on the mound, and Mike Korth took the loss. Korth and Jon Englehardt had hits for Shawano. Neopit 10, Leopolis 0 (7 inn.) Sam Tourtillott, Wendell Waukau and Ray White had three hits each for the Chiefs in a win over the Bulldogs. Anderson Schmidt and Brayden Carpenter had two hits for Leopolis. Jamison Beasaw picked up the win, and Jaden Stuhr took the loss. Little Falls 3, Gresham 2 Kyle Finger’s walkoff hit in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Loggers a win over the Gophers. Winning pitcher Chris Dunn had two hits for Little Falls. Paul Murphy took the loss for Gresham, and Trayvon Granquist had two hits to lead the Gophers at the plate. July 11 Tigerton 7, Marion 6 Hayden Harris picked up the win for the Tigers, while Joe Weyenberg took the loss. Tyler Steinbach and Kaden Jueds had two hits to lead Tigerton and Marion, respectively. North Division July 13 Birnamwood 17, Aniwa 5 The Kings scored 17 runs to help Logan Thiex get the win on the mound. Kody Szews took the loss for the Orioles. Eland 7, Elderon 3 Tyler Nelson, Jacob Ligenza, Ryan Richter and Charlie Woida had two hits each in the Engineers’ win over the Whiskey Jacks. Brandon Groshek led Elderon with three hits, while Casey Kerstner, Ian Zeinert and Thomas Lemanczyk added two each. Nelson got the win and Kaleb Schulist took the loss. July 11 Antigo/Polar 7. Wittenberg 6 Eli Fleischman, AJ Kirsch and Carter Wassen each had two of Antigo/Polar’s nine hits in a win over the Pilots. Nathan Waupekenay led Wittenberg with two hits and also took the loss on the mound. South-Central Division July 13 Scandinavia 10, Plover 3 Ben Lee had a big day for Scandinavia, as he struck out 12 Plover batters over eight innings to get the win on the mound while adding three hits and three RBIs. Logan Moe had a pair of doubles and scored three runs, R.J. Rosenthal had three hits, and Landon Moe had two hits. Zach Houston and Matt Haertl led Plover with two hits each. Kaden Thauer took the loss for the Pterodactyls and finished with eight strikeouts. Weymont 6, New London 2 New London 14, Weymont 5 Weymont and New London split a doubleheader that included a rescheduled game. Luke Schwenn got the win on the mound for the White Bass in the first game. Brock Wilde had two hits to lead Weymont at the plate. Ethan Hertzfeldt took the loss, and Tyler Gerrits led the Irish with two hits. Gerrits led New London with two hits in the second game, and Chevyn Aus picked up the win. Trevor Wetzel had two hits for Weymont, and Chris Gunst took the loss.
