Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s girls captured first place with 18 points. The Chargers earned the top three finishes for the girls.
Brielle Rose placed first in 22:37.2, followed by Nora Bushman in second at 23:07, Gabrielle Timm in third at 23:12.5, Harper Krull in fourth at 24:45.1 and Kendyll Ladwig in fifth at 25:33.5.
Menominee Nation was led by Kaylee Nacotee in 29th, and Gresham’s Aubrey Miller was 50th.
Menominee Nation’s Bryant Waupoose won the boys race with a time of 18:54.2. Teammate Cashius Reevis was ninth with a time of 20:58.3.
Marion-Tigerton’s Payton Prickette placed seventh in 20:37.6, and Gresham’s Caleb Putnam was 10th in 21:03.4.
Marty Nowinsky placed fourth and Dalton Fletcher was sixth to lead the Witt-Birn boys to a second-place finish with 56 points.
The top five runners were Nowinsky at 20:17.5, Fletcher at 20:51.1, Colten Mueller in 12th at 22:33.7, Milo Salvesen in 16th at 24 minutes and Maskym Guk in 18th at 24:24.4.
