Bonduel 83, Weyauwega-Fremont 53
Bonduel’s boys basketball team finished the regular season with a perfect 14-0 conference mark and 21-3 overall with an 83-53 win over Weyauwega-Fremont.
The Bears have won 46 consecutive conference games over the past four years.
Quinn Wesenberg led Bonduel with 27 points. Carter Moesch scored 17, Jack Zernicke added 15, and Ryan Westrich contributed another 10.
Shawano 73, Green Bay East 52
The Shawano Hawks wrapped up their regular season in impressive fashion, earning a decisive 73-52 victory over Green Bay East.
From the opening tip, the Hawks set the tone with strong defensive pressure and balanced scoring, steadily building their lead and maintaining control throughout the contest.
Offensively, Shawano was fueled by a dominant one-two punch. Will Verkuilen delivered a game-high 28 points, consistently attacking the basket and knocking down key shots to keep momentum on the Hawks’ side. Close behind him was Jack Nordin, who contributed 25 points of his own. The duo accounted for 53 of the team’s 72 points, showcasing their ability to take over the game and provide steady leadership on the court.
Defensively, the Hawks tightened up as the game progressed, limiting Green Bay East’s scoring opportunities and converting turnovers into transition points. Their energy and execution allowed them to extend the lead in the second half and close out the regular season with confidence.
Nordin led the Hawks with eight rebounds, followed by Cooper Boucher with six and Grayson Swedberg with three. Swedberg also had two steals.
Anderson Schmidt and Verkuilen each dished out four assists, and Nordin had two.
With the Bay Conference win, Shawano finishes the year with a 9-15 overall record. The Hawks were in seventh place in the conference with a 4-12 mark.
Oconto Falls 101, Clintonville 80
Oconto Falls eclipsed the three-digit mark in a 101-80 North Eastern Conference regular season finale victory over Clintonville.
Jameson Beaman led the Panthers with a 37-point scoring barrage. Brady Bursa scored 20, and Collin Radtke added 18.
Teagan Tate pulled down eight rebounds, with Beaman adding six and Bursa another four. Bursa led Oconto Falls with six steals, while Beaman had three.
Bursa also paced the team with six assists. Carson McDermid notched three, and Radtke had two.
Oconto Falls finished the regular season in third place in the NEC with a 10-6 record and was 17-7 overall.
Tigerton 66, Northland Lutheran 26
The Tigers closed their regular season the way they opened it – with a win.
Tigerton defeated Norhtland Lutheran 66-26 to finish with a perfect 24-0 mark heading into the WIAA playoffs.
James Brady led the Tigers with 15 points, followed by Brody Miller with 12 and Caleb Dahlstrom with 11.
Brady paced the team with eight rebounds, while Sam Anheuser had nine assists, and Dahlstrom had six steals.
The team won the CWC-North with a 10-0 mark.
