Shawano 52, Menasha 45

The Hawks grabbed an early lead and never relinquished it behind Maci Beyer’s four first half 3-pointers as Shawano defeated Menasha 52-45.

Leah Nordin led the Hawks with 27 points and 12 rebounds. Nordin now has 998 career rebounds leaving her two shy of the 1,000 milestone.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 71, Bonduel 38

Wittenberg-Birnamwood held a slim 29-25 lead at halftime but blew the game open with a 42-13 second half that saw them defeat Bonduel 71-38.

“We got a great win tonight on senior night,” Chargers coach Nick Mechelke said. “Bonduel handled our pressure well in the first half and shot very well. I told the girls we had to wear them down in the second half, and I think we did that. Our defense led to our offense, and we were able to extend our lead.”
