UW-Whitewater
A total of 1,465 students at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater were recipients of scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year.
Local students include:
Bonduel: Bella Delzer, who is studying accounting, won the Joseph Domitrz Scholarship and Chancellor Scholars.
Shawano: Maddy Heling, who is studying entrepreneurship, won the Chancellor Scholars.
Shawano: Lucas te Plate, who is studying accounting, won the Warhawk Accounting Advancement Scholarship.
Pulaski: Rachel Wasielewski, who is studying accounting, won the Karl E Fraedrich-Accounting Scholarship, Stoughton Trailers Student Scholarship and Chancellor Scholars.
UW-Madison
Just over 1,300 students received doctoral, bachelor’s, master’s and professional degrees in August 2024 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
While there is no commencement ceremony in August, many of the graduates take part in the ceremonies the previous spring or in December.
Area recipients included:
Little Suamico: Yuewn-Lann Yang, School of Education, doctor of philosophy, special education.
Shawano: Pilar Gauthier, School of Education, doctor of philosophy, counseling psychology.
