Michele Ann Romane (nee Cornell), of Ellisville, Missouri, was baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection Aug. 18, 2026.
She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur F. “Art” Romane; loving mother of Rhonda (Anthony) Valentino and Rod (Stephanie) Romane; loving grandmother of Kristin (Brandon), Gabriele, Courtney (Chris) and Sophia (Janos); loving great-grandmother of Bryson, Emma, Emma and Ethan; dear aunt great-aunt, cousin and friend to so many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, May and Ray Cornell; and sister, Patricia L. Redenius.
Michele’s family would like to express their gratitude to her loving, devoted friends who were by her side throughout this journey in presence, prayer and love. Many thanks to her exceptional medical care from Dr. Hani Soudah and Dr. Mike Ogawa and the entire oncology staff of St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield.
The family will receive friends for the visitation at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road, Ballwin, Missouri, on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026, from 3-6 p.m. The funeral Mass will be at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 15642 Clayton Road, Ellisville, Missouri, on Monday, Aug. 31, 2026, at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment will be private.
