Community invited to health assessment meeting

The Shawano-Menominee Counties Health Department (SMCHD) invites residents, partners and community stakeholders to participate in the 2026 Community Health Assessment meeting from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 17 at the College of Menominee Nation Cultural Learning Center.

The assessment is a foundational process that helps identify the most pressing health needs of Shawano and Menominee counties. This year’s meeting will bring together voices from across both counties to review local health data, discuss emerging issues and select priority areas that will guide future health improvement efforts.

The CHA process relies on broad community participation to ensure that the selected priorities reflect the lived experiences, concerns, and aspirations of local residents.

The session is free and open to the public, though space is limited. A virtual attendance option is also available via Microsoft Teams at bit.ly/3RtsCWe. Meeting ID: 290 046 666 313 864. Passcode: N2g3PB6q
