A big ninth inning gave Wittenberg’s Badger Amateur Baseball Association team a come-from-behind win, as the Pilots defeated Tigerton 15-14 July 17 in Wittenberg.
West Division
Wittenberg 15, Tigerton 14
Wittenberg scored 10 runs in the bottom of the ninth inning for a win over the Tigers and improved to 8-2 in division play.
East Division
Gresham 14, Marion 9
Nate Ejnik and Mike Pecore each had four hits to lead the Gophers over the Meisters on July 17 in a rescheduled East Division game.
Wyatt Nietzer added three hits for Gresham, while Crew Weisnicht and Lukas Pecore had two each.
Mitch Elandt led Marion with three hits.
Paul Murphy picked up the win on the mound and Blake Weatherwax took the loss.
New London 12, Clintonville 2 (7 inn.)
The Irish built an 8-0 lead thanks to seven-run second inning and cruised to a 10-run win over the A’s at Don Jirschele Field in Clintonville, a game that was rescheduled from July 17 to July 19.
New London outhit the A’s 11-1 and Mike Helsten picked up the win on the mound.
Colby Schmude scored three times, hit a home run and drove in three runs for the Irish.
North Division
Birnamwood 7, Eland 3
Birnamwood defeated the Engineers in the Kings’ final home game of the regular season at Rivertronics Stadium.
Hatley 12, Crandon 5
Hatley outhit the Kentucks 15-8 in Hatley.
Kodie Kocher led the Braves with four hits, while Sam Meerstein had three and Ben Cunliffe and Braxton Olson added two each.
Cole Kupfer and Tyler Sprink led Crandon with two hits each.
Cunliffe picked up the win, and Curtis Paschen took the loss.

Little Falls 15, Caroline 2
Little Falls held on to first place in the West Division standings with a home win over the Cougars.
Plover 13, Leopolis 1
The Pterodactyls made the long drive to Leopolis July 19 and returned home following a win over the Bulldogs.
Plover scored eight of its 13 runs in the top of the ninth inning. Kevin Jastromski led the Pterodactyls at the plate with three of the team’s 14 hits. He also drove in four runs on a three-run single in the eighth inning and an RBI single in the ninth.
Plover didn’t score until Brady Houston’s two-run single in the eighth inning.
Ryan Malveg had three hits to lead Leopolis at the plate, and Brady Hannes drove in the Bulldogs’ only run.
Kaden Thauer picked up the win on the mound for Plover, and Jaden Stuhr took the loss despite striking out 18 batters in eight innings.
