On a night where four racers were inducted into the Shawano Speedway Hall of Fame, Seymour’s Tim Jorgenson made the biggest move to the checkered flag, starting in 10th place in the sport modifieds.
It was Jorgenseon’s first feature win of the season after 10 starts on the circuit. He has a trio of top five finishes and six top 10 spots.
Jorgenson was followed by Joshua Fleischmann of Iron River, Michigan, and Dustin Wudstruck of Tigerton.
Fleischmann and Shawano’s Michael Springborn won the heats.
In the Mighty 4’s feature, Brad Wedde of Clintonville started ninth and won, defeating Marion’s Justin Haufe and Shawano’s Taylor Junk.
Andrew Yaeger of Shawano and Haufe were the heat winners.
Pulaski’s Devin Snellenberger won the stock car feature race after starting in sixth place. He finished in front of Trent Nolan of Shawano and Tyler Wilson of Little Suamico.
Like Jorgenson, Snellenberger captured his first win of the season in eight feature races.
Winning the heats were Travis Welch of Gillett, Yarie and Jeremy Christians of Horicon.
In the modifieds, it was Seymour’s Konnor Wilinski moving up from the No. 2 starting spot to win the feature. He placed in front of Clintonville’s Lucas Lamberies and Wausau’s Marcus Yarie.
Andy Klosterman of Cecil and and Lamberies were the heat winners.
Jeff Teske, Joe Haferkorn, and John and Soon Stezenski were the inductees into the Hall of Fame.
The speedway’s double feature will be held June 12-13, two full nights of racing both starting at 6 p.m. Late model cars return for the June 13 program.
