Ary S. Mulder

Ary S. Mulder, 87, of Sandy, Oregon, passed away Sept. 11, 2026, in Yuma, Arizona.

Ary was born Oct. 15, 1938, in Waupun to the late John and Ada Mulder. He graduated from Waupun HIgh School in 1956. He married Marlene Behringer on Sept. 6, 1956, and Dixie Wesselink on Dec. 3, 2007.

Ary proudly served in the National Guard from 1955-83. He worked for the United States Department of Agriculture as a state food inspector until retirement in 1995.

Retirement brought on the adventure of full time traveling and living in an RV. Ary loved fishing for trout in the mountains, playing shuffleboard, meeting people and the Green Bay Packers. Ary and Marlene enjoyed taking their grandson, Nick, on summer travels.

He is survived by one son, Ary (Bobbi Jo) Mulder; one stepdaughter, Becky (Randy) Brown; three grandchildren, Michael, Joseph (special friend Katie) and Nicholas (Jaritza) Mulder; five great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Braden, Madison, Lily and Aiden.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Marlene Mulder and Dixie Wesselink; one son, Todd Mulder; one stepdaughter, Brenda Irvin; his parents; his siblings, Walter (Linda) Mulder, Julie Wiersma.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
