Sacred Heart Catholic School’s eighth grade class joined students from across the Diocese of Green Bay on Oct. 15 for Bishop David Ricken’s All School Mass at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion.

The Shrine is the only approved Marian apparition site in the United States, making this pilgrimage a sacred and historic experience for students. Surrounded by hundreds of young Catholics, eighth graders participated in the Holy Mass celebrated by Bishop David Ricken, lifting their hearts in prayer and praise as one diocesan family.

The day offered students a chance to reflect on their faith, connect with peers from across the Diocese, and walk in the footsteps of pilgrims who have come to the Shrine for generations seeking healing, peace, and grace.
