Bears dominate Manawa 60-19
The Bonduel High School girls basketball team dismantled Manawa 60-19 in a Central Wisconsin Conference-8 game Friday in Manawa.
Jennifer Dowden had 19 points, 13 rebounds, five steals and five assists to lead Bonduel (5-1, 2-1 CWC-8). Alexa Reinke added 10 points. Deanna Zernicke had four steals and four assists. Nine Bonduel players scored.
Gresham tops Tri-County
The Gresham Community High School boys basketball beat Tri-County 56-51 in Central Wisconsin Conference-10 action Friday in Gresham.
Scott Cerveny had 11 points and seven rebounds for Gresham (5-1, 4-1 CWC-10). Christian Haffner had 20 points and six assists. Killian Eggert had 12 points and nine rebounds.
Dayton Jones scored 24 to lead Tri-County (1-5, 1-4 CWC-10).
Chargers beat by Weyauwega-Fremont
The Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School boys basketball team lost to Central Wisconsin Conference-8 foe Weyauwega-Fremont 67-53 Friday in Wittenberg.
Tyler Milanowski led the Chargers (3-5, 1-3 CWC-8) with 16 points.
Lincoln Van Cuick scored 24 and Aaron Schroeder had 20 for Weyauwega-Fremont (4-2, 2-2 CWC-8)
Bowler loses to Rosholt
The Bowler High School boys basketball team lost to Rosholt 61-49 in CWC-10 action Friday in Rosholt.
Cody Montez led Bowler (2-4, 1-4 CWC-10) with 15 points. Chase Nueske added 13 and Thomas Kazik had 12.
Jarod Richter had 20 to lead Rosholt (1-5, 1-4 CWC-8).
Tigerton defeated by Wild Rose
The Tigerton High School girls basketball team lost 41-29 to Wild Rose on Friday in Tigerton.
Emily Wendt led Tigerton (2-4, 0-4 CWC-10) with seven points. Katie Waters had six points and eight rebounds.
Bowler girls fall to Rosholt
The Bowler High School girls basketball team lost 36-31 to Central Wisconsin Conference-10 foe Rosholt on Friday in Bowler.
Ashlynn Brisk led Bowler (0-4, 0-3 CWC-10) with 23 points, 11 rebounds and three steals.
