Jason L. Holtger, 39, Oconto, was sentenced to four years in prison for driving while intoxicated, fifth offense. He was arrested Oct. 6, 2012, in Oconto. The sentence was imposed and stayed, and he was placed on probation three years with the conditions he spend 10 months in jail, pay $250 DNA surcharge, $3,527 fines and court costs, maintain full-time employment, attend alcohol and other drug abuse assessment, have no alcohol or illegal drugs, not be in bars or places alcohol is sold or served except for restaurants and then to eat only. His driver’s license is revoked 36 months, and an ignition interlock was imposed for 36 months.
Christian D. Kundert, 19, Oconto Falls, made an initial appearance on a charge of being party to burglary, which allegedly took place June 26 in the town of Abrams. His appearance is continued to Aug. 8, and a $5,000 signature bond was set.
Dennis J. Pecor, 48, Abrams, was fined $2,492 for possession of a controlled substance on Oct. 22, 2012, in the town of Abrams. After plea negotiations, a charge of manufacturing a controlled substance was dismissed.
After plea negotiations, Levin J. Liebergen, 19, Oconto, entered a guilty plea to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver on April 14 in Oconto. He was also found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia and possessing a controlled substance, which took place on that same date. On a charge of manufacturing a controlled substance, also on April 14, the court suspended action for 18 months. Liebergen was placed on probation 18 months, ordered to attend alcohol and other drug abuse assessment and follow through, maintain absolute sobriety, have no alcohol or illegal drugs, maintain full-time employment, and pay $1,465.75 in fines and court costs.
Proceedings from July 15
Jimmy Alvis Loven, 53, Batesville, Ark., made an initial appearance on a charge of driving while intoxicated, 10th offense. He was arrested July 14 in the town of Oconto Falls. He also faces a disorderly conduct charge. His appearance will continue Aug. 8, and a $7,500 cash bond was set.
Terrence L. Vanhoosen, 46, Lena, appeared in court for driving while intoxicated, fifth or sixth offense. He was arrested July 14 in the town of Stiles. His appearance will continue Aug. 8, and his bond was set at $2,500 cash.
A three-day jury trial for Peter J. Hanson, charged with 52 counts of repeated possession of child pornography between Sept. 6 and Nov. 1, 2012, in Oconto Falls, was called off after plea negotiations were reached. Hanson agreed to enter no contest pleas to all charges if the repeated charge on each was dropped. His sentencing is set for Aug. 15, and a $140,000 cash bond continues.
Proceedings from July 10
Daryl J. Larock, 33, Oconto, stood mute at his arraignment and the court entered not guilty pleas on his behalf to repeated strangulation, repeated battery and repeated causing criminal damage to property on June 7 in Suring. His pretrial conference will be held July 22, and a $15,000 cash bond continues.
Daniel J. Frausto, 37, Waupun, pleaded not guilty to 17 counts of being party to burglary and theft, which occurred Aug. 26, 2011, in the town of Abrams. His pretrial conference has been scheduled for Sept. 12, and a $50,000 cash bond continues.
