Burglary
Two teenagers are facing charges of burglarizing two taverns in the town of Pella last week.
Miguel K. Rosas, 17, of rural Shawano, and Donald W. Simmons, 18, of Clintonville, are accused of breaking into Hurricane Dawn’s on Nov. 19 and Hopper’s Bar on Nov. 23. They could each face a maximum 12 1/2 years in prison and $25,000 if found guilty of each of two counts of burglary.
Rosas also faces two felony counts of bail jumping, which carries a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine.
They also both face misdemeanor counts of theft for allegedly stealing liquor, cigarettes and cash.
Simmons was ordered held on a $1,500 cash bond and is due back in court for a preliminary hearing Monday. Rosas was ordered held on a $7,500 cash bond and is scheduled for an adjourned initial appearance Monday.
Child sex assault
A Gillett man was charged last week with first degree sexual assault of a child that allegedly occurred in June 2009.
Bradley M. Neumann, 21, is accused of having sexual contact with a 7-year-old girl in the town of Wescott. He could face a maximum 60 years in prison if found guilty.
Neumann posted a $1,000 cash bond Monday and is due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance Monday.
Possession of marijuana
A rural Shawano man has been charged with a felony count of possession of marijuana after marijuana allegedly belonging to him was found on the premises when authorities responded to a disturbance in Wescott last week.
Samuel B. Bullock, 37, could face a maximum 3 1/2 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if found guilty of second or subsequent offense possession of marijuana. He is also charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bullock posted a $500 cash bond and is due back in court for a preliminary hearing Dec. 6.
