Lance Melvin “Moshawquit” Fish, 26, of Keshena, passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at his home. Born on Aug. 30, 1987, in Shawano, he was the son of Patricia Schanandore and the late John Fish.
Lance had a love of music, enjoyed reading and liked animals, but his heart belonged to his beloved daughter, Anastasia. He cherished his time with her as well as the rest of his family. Lance enjoyed living his life in Chickeney Creek.
Lance is survived by his daughter, Anastasia; his mother, Patricia Schanandore, of Keshena; two sisters, Carlese Tourtillott, Charlene Tourtillott; grandparents, Laurie Barnes, of Keshena, Dewey Schanandore, of Green Bay; great-grandmother, Flora Munoz; special aunt and uncle and godparents, Beth (Ron) Waukau, of Keshena; godmother, Jackie Grignon; aunts and uncles, Carol Fish, of Keshena, Muriel (Dana) Madosh Sr., of Neopit, Mike Fish, of Arizona, Tony Fish, of Minnesota, Edward Fish, of Keshena, Mirac (Margaret) Ellis, of Oneida; great aunts, Roberta (Guy) Grignon, of Keshena, Toni (Ken) Bundick, of Oshkosh, Ardith Barnes, of Shawano, Kristie (Larry) Lindner, of Shawano; great uncle, Mario Munoz, of Keshena; friend and mother of his daughter, Katie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lance was preceded in death by his father, John Fish, and grandparents, Kenneth “Paddo” Fish and Ramona Fish.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. David McElroy officiating. Burial will be at the Gauthier Family Homestead. Visitation will be held at the Munoz residence, N1251 State Highway 47, Keshena, from 4 p.m. Saturday until the procession leaves for the church on Monday.
