Terri Lynn Felts, 66, of the town of Herman, Shawano, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, Dec. 20, 2013, at the Shawano Medical Center.
Terri was born July 2, 1947, in Shawano, a daughter of the late Robert and Doris (Pahlow) Shively.
Terri Lynn attended the Shawano schools, graduating from Shawano High School in 1965. Following school, she was employed at the Zwicker Knitting Mill-Eagle Knit Company for over 20 years. On July 5, 1970, she was united in marriage to Garry Felts at St. James Lutheran Church of Shawano. The couple lived in the Shawano area their entire married life.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Shawano. Her hobbies included designing and making clothing, sewing, gardening, canning and cooking. She is a board member of the local AARP and always was willing to volunteer for many local events. Terry Lynn always put others before herself.
Terri Lynn is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 43 years, Garry Felts, of the town of Herman; one brother, John (Maureen) Shively, of Red River; many nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her dear friends, Dr. T.L. Christen, of Shawano, and Jimmy (Darlene) Brei, of Illinois.
Funeral services for Terri Lynn Felts will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church of Shawano. Pastor Ted Andrada will officiate. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Shawano. Relatives and friends may call at St. James Lutheran Church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family has requested memorials to St. James Lutheran School for a scholarship to be established in the name of Terri Lynn Felts. Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service of Shawano is assisting the family with the service arrangements.
