Marcella Ann Rusch

Marcella Ann Rusch, 71, of Pulaski, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at her home. Born on June 4, 1942, in Appleton, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Luella (Witt) Klitzke. Marcella grew up in the Seymour area. On Oct. 1, 1960, she was united in marriage to Leon R. Rusch in Seymour. After marriage the couple made their home and raised their family in the town of Angelica. Marcella enjoyed being a homemaker and a mother and took great pride in raising and caring for her family. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and collecting pigs. Marcella was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Zachow. Marcella is survived by three daughters, Ruth (Dan) Forbes, of Cecil, Debbie (Dan) Villenauve, of Krakow, Carol Rusch, of Cecil; three sons, Dennis (Cory) Rusch, of Krakow, Herb Rusch, of Pulaski, John Rusch, of Bonduel; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Cliff (Sandy) Klitzke, of Seymour; and three sisters, Jeanette Schroeder, of Appleton, Caroline Kazik, of De Pere, and Edith (Tom) Bakran, of Green Bay. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, on Feb. 28, 2011, her parents, an infant son, two brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Zachow with the Rev. Virgil Hanson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel is assisting the family with the arrangements. The family would like thank the nurses at Heartland Home Hospice for the care given to Marcella.
