Shawano boys rout Marinette
The Shawano Community High School boys basketball team dominated its regular season finale Saturday at Shawano Community Middle School, beating Bay Conference foe Marinette 68-34.
Kyle Raddant scored 24 points to lead the Hawks (14-8, 12-4 Bay). Dillon Frechette added 13 and Travis Geenen scored 11.
Marcus Maguire led Marinette (2-19, 1-15) with 14 points.
Hawks beaten by New London
The Shawano Community High School girls basketball team lost to New London 58-22 in a Bay Conference game Tuesday in Shawano.
Courtney Vomastic scored eight points to lead the Hawks (5-16, 4-10 Bay).
Nicky Roland led New London (16-4, 14-1 Bay) with 15 points.
Bonduel girls beat Shawano
The Shawano Community High School girls basketball team lost to Bonduel 53-51 in a nonconference game Monday in Shawano.
Courtney Vomastic scored 19 to lead the Hawks (5-16, 4-10 Bay). Lyndsey Kurtz added 17.
Jennifer Dowden led the Bears (17-4, 11-2 Central Wisconsin Conference-8) with 22 points. Deanna Zernicke added 15.
Bears beaten by Pacelli
The Bonduel High School boys basketball team closed out its regular season Saturday with a 56-44 loss to Central Wisconsin Conference-8 champion Stevens Point Pacelli in Stevens Point.
Zach Zernicke scored 19 points to lead the Bears (11-12, 5-9 CWC-8). Connor Rosin scored 13.
Issac Elliott’s 22 points led Pacelli (19-2, 13-1 CWC-8).
Truckers lose to Waupaca
The Clintonville High School girls basketball team lost to Waupaca 45-31 in an Eastern Valley Conference game Monday in Clintonville.
Caitie Carpenter led Clintonville (3-17, 2-13 Eastern Valley) with nine points.
Victoria Nowak scored 13 to lead Waupaca (8-13, 6-9).
