At 10:03 a.m. Dec. 14, a car driven by an Oconto man sustained minor damage after leaving U.S. 141 north of U.S. 41 in the town of Abrams. The vehicle struck a guard rail, then entered the ditch and sustained minor damage. At 1:45 p.m. Dec. 14, a female from Lena was southbound on U.S. 141 south of County Road A in the town of Lena when her vehicle skidded on the snow-covered roadway, entered a ditch and struck a highway fence. Minor damage was reported to her auto. She was not injured. At 9:31 a.m. Dec. 14, an Abrams woman was driving south on U.S. 41-141 in the town of Abrams, south of County Road D, when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a road sign then entered a ditch. No injuries were reported, and minor damage was reported to her vehicle. At 4:30 p.m. Dec. 15, a woman from Oconto Falls suffered injuries after driving north on Parkway Road in the town of Brazeau. Her auto skidded on the snow-covered roadway, entered a ditch, struck several small trees and overturned, coming to rest on its side. She was transported to a medical facility by family members. The vehicle sustained very severe damage. At 3:28 p.m. Dec. 7, a man from Mountain was driving a car north on Old 32 Road in the town of Mountain. His vehicle spun out of control on the ice- and snow-covered roadway, entered a ditch and struck several small trees. Severe damage was reported to his vehicle. At 12:52 p.m. Dec. 10, a man from Gillett was driving north on Finnegan Lake Lane in the town of Gillett and failed to negotiate a curve. His vehicle entered the east ditch, struck several small trees and came to rest in a field. The roads were slippery at the time of the accident. Minor damage was reported to his auto. At 3:48 p.m. Dec. 8, an Amberg woman was traveling east on County Road F in the the town of Lakewood. She lost control of the car, which skidded into a ditch and struck several small trees. There was severe damage to the front end of the auto and undercarriage damage. At 7:55 a.m. Dec. 9, a woman from Gaastra, Mich., was driving south on U.S. 141, one-tenth of a mile south of County Road I, in the town of Stiles when her car went out of control and struck a guard rail with its front end. At 8:30 p.m. Dec 11, a car driven by a Gillett man sustained moderate damage after going out of control while traveling on Old 22 Road in the town of Gillett. The vehicle entered a ditch and struck a tree, causing moderate damage to the vehicle. At 10:16 p.m. Dec. 12, a man from Menominee, Mich., was westbound on state Highway 22 in the town of Oconto when he drifted off the roadway onto the north shoulder. The man attempted to correct, and the car spun out of control, entered the ditch on the south side of the road and came to rest against a tree. Severe damage was reported to the car. At 7:14 a.m. Dec. 9, a car driven by a woman from Mountain was southbound on U.S. 141 south of County Road I in the town of Stiles when she lost control. Her auto hit a guard rail on the right side of the road and spun around. Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle. At 9:38 a.m. Dec. 9, a vehicle driven by an Oconto man was plowing snow in his driveway on Pine Avenue, town of Oconto, when he backed up and struck a northbound pickup truck driven by an Oconto man. There was no damage to the vehicle plowing snow but moderate damage to the pickup truck, which was owned by NEWCAP Inc. Eric J. Gegare, Cream City Road, town of Oconto, reported Dec. 10 a snowmobile track was taken from a building. It is valued at $511.
