At 2:04 p.m. Dec. 18, cars driven by two men from Little Suamico collided at the intersection of County Road and Sundale Court, town of Little Suamico, after one driver failed to yield the right of way. No injuries resulted. At 2:50 a.m. Dec. 19, a man from Plover was driving his auto north on state Highway 32 south of Maiden Lake Road in the town of Riverview when he struck an ice-covered shoulder of the roadway. His vehicle entered a ditch on the east side of the road, struck the snowmobile trail, then continued north striking several trees. No injuries resulted. His car sustained severe damage. At 11:30 p.m Dec. 19, a woman from Crivitz was traveling north on U.S. 141 in the town of Lena, lost control of her vehicle, entered a ditch and traveled through a highway barrier fence. There was minor damage reported to her vehicle. At 6:51 a.m. Dec. 16, a woman from Mountain was driving a car on Island Lake Road in the town of Riverview when she lost control on the slippery road, entered a ditch backwards and struck several small trees. She was not injured, but her vehicle required towing from the scene. At 10:16 p.m. Dec. 12, a man from Menominee, Mich., was westbound on state Highway 22 in the town of Oconto when he drifted off the roadway onto the north shoulder. The man attempted to correct, and the car spun out of control, entered the ditch on the south side of the road and came to rest against a tree. Severe damage was reported to the car. At 7:14 a.m. Dec. 9, a car driven by a woman from Mountain was southbound on U.S. 141 south of County Road I in the town of Stiles when she lost control. Her auto hit a guard rail on the right side of the road and spun around. Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle. At 9:38 a.m. Dec. 9, a vehicle driven by an Oconto man was plowing snow in his driveway on Pine Avenue, town of Oconto, when he backed up and struck a northbound pickup truck driven by an Oconto man. There was no damage to the vehicle plowing snow but moderate damage to the pickup truck, which was owned by NEWCAP Inc. Eric J. Gegare, Cream City Road, town of Oconto, reported Dec. 10 a snowmobile track was taken from a building. It is valued at $511.
