Lynn A. Jaeger-Borley

Lynn A. Jaeger-Borley, 67, of Green Bay, passed away Thursday morning, Feb. 13, 2014, at a local hospital after a long battle with heart disease. Lynn was born on Dec. 18, 1946, to Emil and Deloris (Krause) Jaeger in Oconto Falls. She graduated from Oconto Falls High School with the Class of 1964. She moved to Green Bay, where she raised two daughters while working full time. Lynn enjoyed decorating, cooking, shopping and sitting outside on a warm day. She was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed watching the games. Lynn was an amazingly strong woman, whom everyone could count on for support, spunkiness and joyous laughter. Her strength and independence were visible in every part of her life. Lynn never gave up living and fought til the very end. Lynn is survived by her husband, Leo Borley; children, Angel Smith (Dan), Jody Svoboda; grandchildren, Cullyn Zoglman, Sadie Smith; mother, Deloris VanLarhoven; loving companion, Levity; stepdaughters; stepgrandchildren; stepgreat-grandchildren; brothers, Curt Jaeger (Charlie), Jerry Jaeger (like a sister, Linda); sister, Deb VanRemortal (Pete); and extended loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Emil Jaeger; stepfather, Jake VanLarhoven; and stepson, Danny Borley. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 S. Ridge Road, Green Bay. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Earl Vorpagel III officiating. Hansen Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 1644 Lime Kiln Road, 920-593-2620, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her honor. A special thanks to all who helped care for her over the last 18 years. Your kindness, love and devotion to Lynn will always be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
