Music fills the air at Shawano County Fair

Four stages will offer plenty of music and entertainment opportunities for those attending the 2025 Shawano County Fair.

Main Stage entertainment will kick off with Left on Read at 8 p.m. Aug. 28. Left on Read is a band in the Fox Valley bringing a variety of covers from the ’90s to today, including hits from Sheryl Crow, No Doubt, Shania Twain and more.

Whiskey & Lace will perform at 8 p.m. Aug. 29. This is a high-energy band from central Wisconsin playing the best country music from the ’90s and today, mixed with popular pop, pop-punk and rock hits from the ’90s and today.

Spicy Tie Band will be on the Main Stage at 8 p.m. Aug. 30. Winners of multiple Wisconsin Area Music Industry awards, this rock ‘n’ roll party band draws the audience in with multiple lead vocals and a variety of instrumentation, including harmonica, saxophone and trumpet — not to mention a concert-style sound and light show.

Their music covers popular hits spanning decades.

The final act on the Main Stage is Cherry Pie, which will play at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 31. Cherry Pie is a family-friendly band with 25-plus years of experience, playing the biggest rock hits.

Playing on the Midway Stage will be Homegrown at 7 p.m. Aug. 28. Jamie Hubbard and JT Crocker joined together to create the mixed music acoustic duo.

Big Snake will play at 6 p.m. Aug. 29. This Green Bay-area band plays Southern rock, classic rock and blues.

Lovin Country takes the stage at 1 p.m. Aug. 30. Country and variety are their staples.

Enjoy the sounds of classic country tunes with Country Rewind, which performs at 6 p.m. Aug. 30.

Green Bay musician Logan Spicer will play Southern rock and classic country at 1 p.m. Aug. 31. Bill Hurley and Mike Daley will perform several genres of music from classic rock to country to folk songs at 6 p.m. Aug. 31.

The final act on the Midway Stage will be Olivia Maro, who will perform at noon Sept. 1. The singer and songwriter will play country music.

President’s Park will be the site for polka performers throughout the fair.

Up first will be New Generation at 6 p.m. Aug. 28. On Aug. 29, Gary’s Ridgeland Dutchman will play at 1 p.m., and Chad Przybylski will play at 6 p.m. Performing Aug. 30 will be Musical Brass at 1 p.m. and The Mix at 6 p.m.

Jerry Voelker takes to the stage at 1 p.m. Aug. 31, with the Maroszek Brothers performing at 6 p.m.

Finally, Zander’s Music Ray Makers will play at 1 p.m. Sept. 1.

Matthew Scherer’s Magical Entertainment will be featured on the Shawano County Farm Bureau Stage. Scherer’s program includes audience participation, magically illustrated stories, a magic workshop and balloon artistry.
