The Machickanee Players have announced that they are back on stage after an absence of two years.
The group will be producing “The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Church” written by Bo Wilson. This comedy follows the group as they unpack and comment on the donations they received for the flood victims in Guatemala. Along the way, secrets are shared and powerful stories are revealed as the rain and flooding continue.
This play will be produced Feb. 25-27 and March 4-6 at the Park Avenue Playhouse, 408 Park Ave., Oconto.
Dinner shows will be at 6 p.m. on Feb. 26 and March 5, and the popular pie shows will be at 2 p.m. on Feb. 27 and March 6. Reservations are required for dinner and pie shows and must be made at least 72 hours before the shows. Dinner shows are $30 per person, while dessert shows are $22.
The play will also be performed on Feb. 25 and March 4 at 7 p.m. and walk-ins are welcome at this show. Admission for these shows is $17 per person.
