Lorraine Emilie Meyer, 82, of Shawano, entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at Evergreen Care Center.
Lorraine was born June 15, 1931, in Bonduel. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ida (Heller) Boettcher. Lorraine was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. She graduated from Bonduel High School in 1949.
On July 10, 1965, she was united in marriage to Ralph Meyer, of Shawano, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Ralph preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 2012. Lorraine worked as a bookkeeper for Village Farm Dairy in Bonduel and Morning Glory Farms in Shawano for many years. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She was a faithful member of St. Paul and enjoyed worshiping there. Lorraine also enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, cooking, baking and making artificial flower arrangements.
Lorraine is survived by her beloved son, James, of Shawano; a sister, Violet Beilfuss, of Bonduel; special niece and goddaughter, Kathy (Keith) Wilcox, of Pulaski and their daughters Kendall and Kallie; special nephew, Brian (Carrie) Beilfuss, of Bonduel, and their sons Noah, Adam, and Carter; sisters-in-law Elaine (Donald) Klitz, of Pella, Diane (Wayne) Krueger, of Neenah; brothers-in-law, Mer Meyer, of Suamico, David (Pili) Meyer, of Port Angeles, Wash.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lorraine was also preceded in death by brother-in-law, Robert Beilfuss, and sister-in-law, Patti Meyer.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel at 11 a.m. with Pastor Timothy Shoup officiating. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church cemetery in Bonduel.

The family would like to especially thank Dr. Beth Gillis for the wonderful care she provided, to the wonderful and caring staff at Evergreen Care Center for the excellent care of Lorraine, and to Pastors Shoup and Palmer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church and Lutheran Hour Ministries.
