The Shawano Lake Lioness Club will hold its annual Fall Craft and Gift Expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Shawano Community Middle School, 1050 S. Union St.
The event helps raise funds for the club’s program providing double-fleece lap robes for local nursing home residents, as well as three scholarships given by the club to area students.
The expo is traditionally held on the opening day of gun deer season.
More than 60 vendors will have their wares on display in the gym. Raffle tickets can be purchased for hourly baskets as well as a quilt made from the corners of the lap blankets.
Barbecue and hot turkey sandwiches with chips and pickles will be available in the school cafeteria.
Plus you can also purchases lots of baked goods and caramel corn to take home for the hunters.
