JoAnn M. Skenadore, 74, of Green Bay, passed away on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, in Green Bay. She was born on June 25, 1939, in Keshena and graduated from Shawano High School in 1957.
JoAnn worked in several nursing homes and enjoyed working at the Oneida Casino for many years. JoAnn lived in Green Bay since 1994 and was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Kevin (Kathy) Davis, of Longmont, Colo., Susan (Todd) Howe, of Senatobia, Miss., Shannon Davis, of Green Bay; six grandchildren, Chuck, Tom, Andrew, Tyler, Hayley and Luke; a brother, Mike Lepscier, of Keshena; and a sister, Chyrlcq Irving, of Keshena. JoAnn is further survived by sisters-in-law, Lynn and Mona Skenadore; a half-sister, Jeanette Teller; and a special niece, Paula Keshena.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle (Grignon) Skenadore; her birth father, Clayton Skenadore; her dad who raised her, Richard Lepscier; brothers and sisters, Clayton “Brokie” Skenadore, Lenore Skenadore, Bernard “Buck” Skenadore, Edith Waukau, Marlene Keshena, Regina “Jeannie Bug” Mahkimetas, Alex Lepscier and Richard “Dick” Lepscier.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. David McElroy, O. Praem, officiating. Visitation will be held at the Neopit Community Center on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.
