Sharon C. Becker, 76, passed away recently at Kindred Hearts in Quincy, Illinois. She was born June 30, 1945, in Chicago to Charles and Ethel Cole.
She was raised in Chicago but moved to Wisconsin in November 2020. She attended Victory Fellowship Church. She loved to go to church and was very devoted to her friends, Sue, Tess and Linda.
Sharon was one feisty, loving and giving woman. She loved her children to her core.
She was very well liked with everyone she met, except when she was angry. She has one long history in Chicago about her struggles with being a single mom and taking care of three children. Now she is in glory with her grandma, Lois, who raised her and loved her as a little girl.
Survivors include her children, Lisa, Brian and Jerry (Nancy); two sisters, Peggy and Denise; and her grandchildren, Jaqueline, Lee, Joseph, Shannon Higgins, Lily Becker, Ryan and Andrew.
A memorial will be held at the end of August or in early September.
