Norman J. Christensen

Norman J. Christensen, 85, of Cecil, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026.

Norman was born Oct. 28, 1940, to the late Conrad and Verna (Ramage) Christensen. He served his country in the United States Army and was discharged in 1968. On Aug. 12, 1967, Norman married Ruby Block at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pulcifer.

He was active in the community serving as scoutmaster for the local Boy Scouts, serving on the church council and he was a Sunday school superintendent. Norman was a member of the Gillett American Legion Post 300, Trout Unlimited and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel.

Norman enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and playing cards. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and going to Camp Luther.

Norman is survived by his five children, Kelly, Kim (Kevin) Hendrikson, Kyle (Karen), Kerry (Carrie) and Kara (Jesse) Tulogeski; 12 grandchildren, Thomas (Ariana), Alexis (Dan), Paige, Peyton (Kayte), Pamela, Bailey (Corina), Ryan, Aidan, Joshua, Justine, Megan and Michael; brothers-in-law, Joe Ondik, Ruben Block and Russell (Kathy) Block; sisters-in-law, Rochelle Christensen, Marlene Christensen and Ruth Christensen. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby, his parents; four brothers, Vernon, Elton, Marvin and Thomas; two sisters, Dorothy Cornish and Norma Ondik.

Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. Visitation continues on Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ryan Fehrmann officiating.

Norman will be interred at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
